## Description

Daniela Sepúlveda Ruiz is a social-impact advocate and community catalyst from Tijuana, Baja California. Her work brings together education, civic participation, youth leadership, and sustainable local development, with a focus on addressing social, economic, and environmental challenges that affect people’s quality of life. She believes education can strengthen participation and foster shared responsibility within communities.

In 2010, Daniela proposed and coordinated a diploma program in community development through the empowerment of young leaders in Tijuana. The project was recognized as an international best practice and received funding from the United States Department of State in 2011. She also founded and leads Fundación Que Transforma, launched in 2007 to promote a proactive urban culture and help rebuild trust and social connections. Through her work as a self-described “Ciudadana Consciente,” “Catalizador.Social,” and hacktivist, Daniela encourages informed citizenship and community engagement. Her personal platform also shares “Vuela, sé mujer,” a message centered on freedom, identity, and following one’s aspirations.
