About DAR

Description

DAR | Almaty is a technology company that specializes in creating digital products to improve people's quality of life. With a strong background in telecommunications and finance, DAR's CEO, Alidar Utemuratov, had a vision to enhance people's lives through mobile applications. The company's initial digital ideas included microloans, online payments, and a loyalty program.

In 2015, DAR launched its first innovative products, such as Halva, a coalition loyalty system, Credit ON, an online microloan service, and Taxa, a taxi ordering app. DAR later integrated these products into a single mobile application, which included online payments, transfers, chat, and laundry platforms. However, the market was not ready for such an ecosystem model, so DAR decided to separate its products into individual applications.

DAR expanded its ecosystem in 2017 with digital products aimed at supporting small and medium-sized businesses in Kazakhstan. The ecosystem included DAR Play, a video streaming service, DAR Pay, a QR code payment app, and DAR Bazar, a marketplace for domestic manufacturers. In 2018, DAR capitalized on its experience and introduced new products to enhance the customer experience and expand local business community opportunities.

These included DAR Vis, a messenger with chatbots and financial services, DAR Business, a business management application, and DAR Logistics, a logistics service utilizing facial recognition technology. DAR continues to search for new areas of growth and is currently working on projects such as UKRYPTO, a cryptocurrency service app, and Asakita 2. 0, an improved credit service.

Furthermore, DAR is undergoing a restructuring process and plans to enter the international market. The company has also expanded its focus beyond its original digital products, venturing into fintech, telecom, animation, education, sports, and media industries. By studying international markets, DAR launched a groundbreaking telecommunications product in the UK called ToTheMoon, which offers the region's most flexible mobile virtual network operator services.

In 2021-2022, DAR further expanded its boundaries by digitizing its business model, transforming its corporate culture, and implementing a product constructor format. During this period, DAR also introduced new products, including 5Q media, an online magazine about development, career, and technology, Naiza, a digital platform for sports development and popularization, DMS 2. 0, an application for corporate management, and Mikkido, unique games suitable for all ages.

As DAR continues to write its history, the company remains committed to creating digital products that make a positive impact on people's lives
