DARA is an independent non-profit organization that has been supporting principled humanitarian action for over fifteen years. Established in 2003, DARA is dedicated to enhancing the quality and effectiveness of humanitarian efforts in the face of armed conflict and natural disasters. As an independent organization, DARA is registered in Spain and has 501(c)(3) status in the United States. It is also recognized as an international organization in Switzerland.
