## Description

Dardanup Equestrian Centre (DEC) is a community-focused equestrian venue in Dardanup, in the South West of Western Australia. Located at 66 Garvey Road, the centre is 1.8 kilometres south of Dardanup and 16 kilometres from Bunbury. Set among rural properties and farmland, DEC serves the equestrian community and is described as a premier centre in the region.

The grounds are used by several affiliated groups, including Henty Riding Club, Dardanup Horse & Pony Club, Dardanup Campdraft and the South West Branch of the Australian Stock Horse Society. The centre provides booking options for events and clinics, casual rides and club activities, and publishes information about its calendar, fees, rules and constitution.

DEC is overseen by a committee made up of representatives from its affiliated clubs. Meeting every second month, the committee coordinates the grounds’ operation, maintenance and improvements, considers funding and finance, and works to support cooperation and equity among the clubs and the wider equestrian community using the venue.
