## Description

DARE for Progress is a Tanzanian NGO championing health and well-being for adolescents, youth, girls, and women through community-centered solutions. Founded by young female medical students, DARE focuses on promoting equitable access to universal health services, particularly in the areas of sexual and reproductive health and HIV prevention.

The organization implements several impactful programs, including Prevention Sisters, which empowers young women to advocate for better access to HIV services, and the Uthubutu Mentorship Program, which nurtures future leaders to instigate change within their communities. DARE also runs the U=U Advocacy Program, raising awareness around HIV treatment and stigma, and is part of a broader coalition, COMPASS Africa, working towards improved health strategies and policy advancements.

DARE believes in the power of youth to create sustainable change and engages them through innovative approaches, evidenced by successful campaigns like #Jipime to promote HIV self-testing. Committed to transparency, accountability, and community ownership, DARE strives for a future where everyone enjoys health equity.
