## Description

Darkbloom is an innovative platform that revolutionizes AI inference by leveraging idle Apple Silicon hardware for cost-effective, private processing. Designed for both developers and Mac owners, Darkbloom allows developers to integrate private inference into their applications without the need for new SDKs, utilizing an OpenAI-compatible API. Mac owners can turn their underutilized machines into a revenue source by running inference tasks, earning 100% of the revenue during the public alpha phase.

The platform ensures top-notch privacy by encrypting requests before they leave a user's app and routing them to verified Apple Silicon providers, all while maintaining operator-blind design. This approach not only keeps prompts confidential but also reduces costs by about 50% compared to traditional API services. With a robust network that matches demand directly to idle machines, Darkbloom creates a private inference marketplace, capitalizing on the vast potential of over 100 million shipped Apple devices, while promoting advanced security and user privacy.
