Darkness RISING Project is a nonprofit organization at the intersection of the arts and mental health. Their mission is to use music as a powerful medium to speak openly about mental health. Led by Broadway performers with lived experiences, Darkness RISING offers free wellness workshops, guest speakers, and a Music & Mental Health Video Series. They organize the Darkness RISING: Live Black mental health block party, where the Black community can come together and access free mental health resources.
