## Description

The Darren Waller Foundation is dedicated to combating substance abuse and supporting recovery for young adults. Founded by former NFL player Darren Waller, the foundation's primary mission is to empower youth aged 18-26 through targeted outreach programs. One of its signature initiatives, Against The Wall, provides essential grants for in-patient and outpatient addiction treatment, along with sober living housing for those transitioning from treatment, focusing primarily on individuals in Nevada. To date, the program has granted over $1 million to assist 60 individuals in Las Vegas. Additionally, the foundation's Wall Talks program engages high school students, especially athletes, by offering motivational presentations that foster a safe and supportive environment. These TED Talk-style sessions share Darren's own journey with addiction and recovery, inspiring students to pledge to S.H.I.N.E. (Self Awareness, Hope, Integrity, “No,” and Encourage). Through its impactful programs and community engagement events, The Darren Waller Foundation continues to make significant strides in addiction prevention and recovery support.
