## Description

Data Terra is a research infrastructure dedicated to Earth observation data. Established in 2016, it is built on four data and service poles, each corresponding to a major Earth system compartment. With a focus on integrated Earth system observation, Data Terra offers a platform for accessing, processing, and combining multi-source data. The infrastructure aims to accelerate the extraction, analysis, dissemination, and intelligent use of data, indicators, and models from national and international observation systems. In addition to the existing poles, a new "Biodiversity" pole joined Data Terra in 2024. Data Terra's services include AERIS for the atmosphere, ODATIS for the ocean, THEIA for continental surfaces, and FORM@TER for solid Earth. These services enable a comprehensive understanding of the Earth's systems, supporting scientific research, environmental monitoring, and societal challenges.
