## Description

Databuoy® is a cutting-edge brand that specializes in sensor technology, offering a range of products and services to enhance public safety and security. Founded in 2006, the brand's name is derived from its early collaboration with the US Navy, specifically the concept of Data Buoys – sensors moored in the ocean to support passing ships. While Databuoy's sensor networks are land-based, they are similarly designed to be reliable and persistent. The brand's technology is rooted in extensive research and development programs sponsored by the Defense Advanced Research Projects Agency (DARPA).

In 2013, Databuoy shifted its focus to public safety and conducted its first indoor live-fire test in 2014. This marked the beginning of years of indoor and outdoor range testing and system refinement. The brand's gunshot localization technology, Shotpoint®, has been proven effective and accurate, providing responders with valuable information to quickly address life-safety incidents and support subsequent investigations.

Databuoy's commitment to innovation is evident in the recent release of the Geofob™ panic button in 2021, further expanding the security capabilities of their sensor networks. With a dedicated executive team comprising seasoned professionals, including founder Kathleen Griggs, Chief Development Officer Nick Jones, and Senior VP of Operations & Sales Alex Chermak, Databuoy ensures the development of cutting-edge technology products and the provision of comprehensive security solutions.

By continually pushing boundaries and adding bold new functionality to their cohesive security suite, Databuoy strives to make the world a safer place. Contact them today to learn more about their products and services and join them in their mission to leave the world better than they found it.
