Located in Tulsa, Oklahoma, Datapages archives and catalogs these publications and offers them in various electronic formats. Their services include Archives, Search and Discovery, and Datapages Exploration Objects (DEO). What sets AAPG Datapages apart is their commitment to ensuring the accessibility of geological publications. By digitally capturing and archiving these publications, they ensure that valuable geological information is not lost due to factors like print scarcity or damage. With easy accessibility, searchability, and affordability, Datapages ensures that these publications remain indispensable to geological professionals who rely on them. Datapages has a rich history, with digitization efforts starting in the early 1990s. Their digital library, known as the Archives, has expanded to include over a million documents. In addition, they offer Search and Discovery, a free online journal for upstream energy explorationists, and Datapages Exploration Objects (DEO), a platform that combines GIS technology and deep indexing to enhance the search-and-retrieval process. All data in the DEO program are mappable, making it a valuable resource for mapping applications. Overall, Datapages is dedicated to preserving and making accessible the wealth of geological knowledge for professionals and students in the geoscience community.
