## Description

David Collins is a renowned brand that encompasses interior design, artistic endeavors, and a philanthropic foundation. Founded in 2016 to honor the legacy of David Collins, his passion for the arts, and his appreciation for beauty, the David Collins Foundation aims to support talented artists and designers during critical stages of their careers. Collaborating with The Arts Foundation, the foundation enables individuals in various artistic mediums to focus on research and develop their practices. Notably, the foundation presents the annual Futures Awards in partnership with The Arts Foundation, recognizing exceptional individuals in fields such as furniture design, performing arts, craft, poetry, experimental short film, and visual arts. Past recipients have included Max Frommeld, Alexander Baczynski-Jenkins, Jochen Holz, Will Harris, Onyeka Igwe, and Tanoa Sasraku. As part of their commitment to the arts, the David Collins Foundation will sponsor the Bio Design award in 2023. With a dedicated board of trustees comprised of David Collins' friends and former colleagues, the foundation continues to honor his memory and support the creative community.
