## Description

David Shiyang Liu is a visionary creative technology executive with over 15 years of multifaceted experience in leading innovative teams in realms such as spatial computing, game development, and commercial filmmaking. As the former Creative Director of Virtual Reality at Viacom NEXT, Liu spearheaded the creation of more than 20 award-winning VR/AR projects that garnered accolades at prestigious film festivals like Sundance and South by Southwest. Notably, his project 'Aeronaut VR,' featuring musical elements from Billy Corgan of the Smashing Pumpkins, won the Cannes Lions Grand Prix in the Digital Craft category. 

Liu's diverse career spans AAA and indie games, television and film direction, and advertising campaigns for major clients including the BBC and Ford. He has also designed immersive experiences, such as the Singapore Arts Festival's 'Songbird,' which combines live actors and interactive elements. With a global perspective, fluency in English, Mandarin, and Cantonese, and a firm belief in cross-disciplinary creativity, David remains committed to pushing the envelope in digital experiences. Currently on a sabbatical, he focuses on personal growth and family.
