## Description

The Davis Mountains Hummingbird Celebration is a birding event hosted by Trans-Pecos Bird Conservation in the Davis Mountains region of Far West Texas. Held at THE HIGH FRONTIER, a 380-acre destination near Fort Davis, the celebration brings bird enthusiasts together for guided field trips, educational programs, and opportunities to connect with fellow birders. Its schedule features welcome and social gatherings, breakfast to-go boxes, an evening banquet, seminars, and a birders’ trade show and silent auction. Participants can also register separately for field trips and purchase official event T-shirts.

The celebration provides trip descriptions, speaker information, festival schedules, and practical guidance to help attendees prepare. Birding outings are conducted rain or shine, with routes and locations subject to conditions such as weather, bird activity, and land access. THE HIGH FRONTIER offers lodging, and celebration attendees may receive a discount when booking with the specified group code. The event also supports awareness of the region’s birdlife and invites contributions to Trans-Pecos Bird Conservation.
