## Description

Dedicated Animal Welfare Group (DAWG) is a non-profit organization that focuses on providing medical care and comfort to orphaned animals at the Mission Viejo animal shelter. Founded in 1995, DAWG became a 501c3 to raise funds and address the medical needs of homeless pets. This dedicated group ensures that every abandoned pet entering the shelter receives the necessary medical care, from critical care for injured or severely ill animals, to routine treatments for various conditions like dental care, skin and ear infections, and professional training. However, DAWG's mission goes beyond medical care. They believe that finding a forever home for these animals is equally important. DAWG sponsors three to four adoption events each year, helping with adoption fees and raising awareness about these events. Their goal is to ensure that every homeless pet finds a wonderful new home within 30 days. If you're looking to support animal welfare and make a difference in the lives of these deserving animals, consider donating to DAWG or participating in their events. Together, we can give these animals a second chance at a happy and loving life.
