## Description

DawnBFunny is the professional brand of Dawn Alexander, known as Dawn B, a Chicago-born comedian, host, actress, and radio personality. With more than 20 years of experience, she began performing at comedy clubs and bars across the United States and internationally, later developing her skills with the improvisational group Forgotten City and building her career in New York City. Dawn B has performed at prominent comedy clubs around the world and toured with comedians Donnell Rawlings and Charlie Murphy. Her work is marked by raw talent, quick wit, and an energetic presence suited to a variety of productions and events.

In response to the 2020 pandemic and club closures, Dawn B executive produced The Stay Yo Ass At Home Comedy Show, a weekly live program streamed across multiple platforms and social media. She also produced Chicago’s first live drive-in comedy show, creating performance opportunities for fellow comedians. Audiences can find her on the YouTube program Candid Conversations, which airs Mondays.
