## Description

Built by Morten Pradsgaard, the Danish company combines marketing and transactional email in one service, using a verified domain and a shared monthly allowance based on emails sent. Plans start at $1 per month, and every plan includes unlimited subscribers.

Customers can create changelogs and launch notes, import contacts, publish signup forms, and send campaigns. The platform also supports password resets, receipts, and other transactional email through an API. Automated welcome and onboarding flows can be built with triggers, messages, waits, and branches; these are available in an early-preview state and send real email. day3 provides domain setup assistance, including publishing and checking DKIM, SPF, and DMARC records for connected Cloudflare domains. Users can track delivery, opens, clicks, bounces, and unsubscribes, with automatic suppression of problematic addresses. API and MCP integrations let teams manage contacts and draft campaigns from code or supported editors. day3 says its hosting and subprocessors are in the European Union.
