## Description

Day Away Charters offers guided fishing trips in Tampa Bay and the St. Petersburg area of Florida’s Gulf Coast. Led by Captain Jeremy Heimes, a U.S. Coast Guard-licensed, fully insured captain and member of the Florida Guides Association and National Association of Charter Boat Operators, the charter welcomes both experienced anglers and beginners. Trips explore shallow inshore waters, mangrove-lined shores, and other fishing spots, with launch locations selected according to conditions and guests’ travel preferences.

Charters are available as four-hour half-day trips for $600, six-hour three-quarter-day trips for $700, and eight-hour full-day trips for $800, with rates covering two anglers. Additional guests cost $50 each, up to four anglers total. Fishing tackle, lures, bait, ice, a cooler, and a saltwater fishing license are supplied. Guests may use spinning tackle or bring their own fly rod. The 20-foot Renegade Skate flats boat has a 115-horsepower Mercury motor. Target species vary by season and may include trout, redfish, snook, tarpon, and pompano.
