## Description

Dia de los Muertos: Day of the Dead SF is a brand that organizes the annual Dia de Los Muertos, Festival of Altars, and the Ritual Poetry Circle in Potrero Del Sol Park. Taking place on November 2nd, this event is produced by the Marigold Project, a community-focused organization. The festival invites everyone to participate and honor their loved ones by creating altars with votive candles encased in glass, flowers, photos, and favorite objects. To reserve a location for your altar, you can sign up ahead of time on the Festival of Altar's webpage. In addition to the festival, Dia de los Muertos: Day of the Dead SF offers various workshops and events. In the past, they have presented the Blooming Heart Workshop Series, which provided cultural education on ancestral food, flower medicine, ancestral wisdom, and cosmic balance. Their mission is to create healing spaces, connecting individuals to their ancestors and the cycle of life and death. Through cultural education, art and writing therapy workshops, and altar building skills, they promote a deeper understanding of our humanity and the preservation of our planet. Stay updated on their upcoming events and initiatives by signing up for their newsletter. Your privacy will always be respected, they will not share your information.
