## Description

D.C Alacrity is a North Carolina technology and media company building what it calls the Experience Industry: original work, software to create and deliver it, and systems that help teams bring experiences to audiences. The company brings together filmmakers, engineers and collaborators, combining creative production with practical technology.

Its software lineup includes Pure Alacrity, a free, offline-capable production suite for scripting, breakdowns, scheduling, budgeting, set work, post-production and delivery; Alacrity Player, a Unity runtime for branching stories; and Alacrity Bridge, in development to connect production planning and records with professional post-production timelines.

D.C Alacrity also develops original film and immersive media properties. Its released interactive live-action VR film, Right Here Right Now!, is available free on Meta Horizon and SideQuest. Other projects include Sidequest, a series in post-production; Prize Pool VR, in pre-production; and Welcome to Wilmy, a documentary in production. Founded in North Carolina, the company aims to turn its production methods and technology into tools and opportunities that can support wider creative work.
