## Description

DC/DOX is a groundbreaking international documentary film festival that launched in June 2023 in Washington, D.C. This vibrant festival is dedicated to elevating documentary filmmaking as a vital art form, showcasing over 100 exceptional feature and short documentaries from around the globe. Attracting both established and emerging filmmakers, DC/DOX highlights a rich diversity of themes, perspectives, and storytelling techniques. 

The festival takes place in prominent venues throughout D.C., prompting engaging post-screening discussions and Q&As with filmmakers, moderated by leading journalists and experts. In addition to film screenings, DC/DOX offers valuable networking opportunities and social events, alongside educational panels, master classes, and workshops presented in the “Reality Check” forum. Co-founded by renowned festival veterans Sky Sitney and Jamie Shor, DC/DOX aims to connect audiences through the power of non-fiction storytelling. The next edition is scheduled for June 12-15, 2025, promising another exciting exploration of impactful documentaries.
