The Ora Funky Cat is a unique and tech-filled electric vehicle that combines retro charm with modern features. As a Chinese automaker Great Wall Motors subsidiary specializing in electric cars, Ora aims to compete with the best compact electric automobiles on the market. The Funky Cat's design is visually appealing, with wide circular LED headlights and a distinct light bar in the rear window. Despite its compact appearance, it is surprisingly spacious inside, offering ample head, leg, and knee room for both front and rear passengers. The interior features clear and simple 10.25-inch monitors and will soon integrate Apple CarPlay and Android Auto. However, the biggest drawback is the small boot space, which only offers 228 litres of storage. 
With a battery capacity of 48kWh, the Funky Cat provides a range of 193 miles on the WLTP cycle. It supports fast charging, allowing it to recharge from 20% to 80% in just 43 minutes. The single electric motor delivers 169bhp and 250Nm of torque, enabling acceleration from 0-62mph in 9 seconds. The Funky Cat is well-suited for urban environments, offering agility and maneuverability in congested traffic and tight spaces. However, it lacks composure on highways due to wind noise and unsettled suspension. Overall, the Ora Funky Cat is a well-priced and specified electric vehicle that offers a spacious cabin and plenty of driver assistance tech.
