## Description

The Deer Creek Schools Foundation is a community-supported organization dedicated to helping advance excellence in Deer Creek Schools in Edmond, Oklahoma. Founded in 1980 by local patrons, it brings together parents, school staff, and volunteers to strengthen community support and foster connection across the growing school district. Students and teachers are at the heart of its work.

The Foundation supports students through scholarships, including the Legacy Scholarship, and provides resources for teachers through classroom support and a guest teacher incentive program. Its activities also include fundraising events and opportunities for community members to contribute, volunteer, and take part in initiatives such as Creek Cares and Deer Creek Safety. Friends of the Foundation and corporate partnerships offer additional ways to get involved.

The Foundation is led by a board of trustees and staff, and its operating board meets monthly; community members are welcome to attend and learn more. Through giving, events, and direct support for educators and students, the Deer Creek Schools Foundation works to help its local schools thrive.
