About
Description
The SF Department of Children, Youth and Their Families (DCYF) is dedicated to improving the lives of children, youth, and their families in San Francisco. Since 1991, DCYF has been using the Children and Youth Fund to invest in programs that support the development and well-being of our future generations. With a strong focus on equity and trauma healing, DCYF collaborates with government agencies, schools, and community-based organizations to create thriving communities where everyone has access to opportunities and happiness.
DCYF envisions a San Francisco where all children and youth are nurtured by supportive families and communities, physically and emotionally healthy, ready to learn and succeed in school, and prepared for college, work, and productive adulthood. Guided by strategic funding, quality services, engagement with communities, and collaborative partnerships, DCYF aims to address inequity, promote positive outcomes, and amplify the voices of children, youth, and families in decision-making processes. As stewards of the Children and Youth Fund, DCYF acknowledges the ancestral homeland of the Ramaytush Ohlone and commits to honoring their history and legacy.
Located at 1390 Market Street, Suite 900, in San Francisco, DCYF invites you to join their mission of creating a great place for life to thrive and children to grow up
