## Description

DD Project Wines is a purpose-driven wine brand dedicated to creating world-class wine while supporting women’s entrepreneurship and education. Founded in loving memory of Diane Rizzo (Dickerson), co-founder of the Capriotti’s Sandwich Franchise, the project draws inspiration from her pioneering entrepreneurial spirit. All proceeds from The DD Project benefit female entrepreneurial and educational initiatives in Delaware and beyond.

The brand’s wines are available through its online shop, which features DD Project Wines alongside offerings from DELDON Wines, Brian Culbertson Wines, and Claudine Wines. Customers can also find the wines in store. Beyond wine, the initiative supports The DD Entrepreneurial Foundation, which provides start-up capital to new businesses and grants to existing businesses led by female entrepreneurs. The foundation also funds entrepreneurial opportunities for young women through education and internships. The site shares updates about grant recipients and the foundation’s work, and invites visitors to subscribe for news, updates, and discounts.
