## Description

Montessori Kindcentrum De Elzen is a child and family centre in Tilburg’s Bomenbuurt, near the city centre. Guided by the educational vision of Maria Montessori, it aims to provide a trusted, sustainable environment where children are central and education and childcare go hand in hand. The centre offers Montessori education and childcare for children from birth to age 13 through its primary school and out-of-school care (BSO). The primary school encourages children to become independent, build confidence and learn within a balance of freedom and clear boundaries. The BSO offers Montessori-inspired activities in a creative setting with a beautiful monastery garden. A new Montessori daycare centre for children aged 0 to 4 is scheduled to open in 2027. De Elzen is one of three Montessori child centres in Tilburg, alongside Koningshaven and De Petteflet. The centres share Montessori principles and collaborate by exchanging teaching approaches and professional knowledge, organising joint training, and supporting an inspiring learning environment for every child.
