## Description

The Delaware Lawyers Assistance Program (DE-LAP) is a confidential and comprehensive program designed to provide assistance to judges and lawyers dealing with substance abuse, mental health issues, and other challenges affecting their quality of life and work productivity. DE-LAP offers a range of services to help individuals identify and address these problems, promoting a workplace atmosphere that supports health, wellness, and professional growth while maintaining the integrity of the legal profession. DE-LAP provides a confidential and non-disciplinary platform for Delaware's judges and lawyers to seek help before their problems negatively impact their careers and lives. Referrals to the program are kept confidential, ensuring privacy and trust. Whether seeking assistance as a self-referral or expressing concerns about a colleague, all information shared with DE-LAP is held in strict confidence. Led by Executive Director Scott Godshall, DE-LAP operates with the goal of encouraging individuals to seek help without fear of career sabotage. Their dedicated team, including the Lawyers Assistance Committee and the Professional Guidance Committee, offers guidance, resources, and support to those in need. Don't let your career suffer - reach out to DE-LAP for confidential and compassionate assistance.
