The DEAF CULTURE CENTRE, operated by the Canadian Cultural Society of the Deaf (CCSD), is a thriving brand that offers a range of products and services aimed at promoting and celebrating Deaf culture. With its programming, outreach initiatives, cultural activities, and award-winning Deaf heritage resources, such as Deaf Planet, ASL-phabet, and the Canadian Dictionary of ASL, the centre serves a growing community. Located in Toronto's historic Distillery District, the DEAF CULTURE CENTRE is the first of its kind internationally, providing an art gallery and a gift shop showcasing artwork by Deaf artists.


Additionally, the centre collaborates with the Sign Language Institute Canada (SLIC), a national network that certifies teachers and instructors of Sign Language, ensuring high standards in teaching. The DEAF CULTURE CENTRE is a hub of creativity, education, and support, contributing to the vibrant Deaf community in Canada and beyond
