## Description

Declive Sublime is a Portuguese trail-running event organiser founded by two enthusiasts who wanted to create races “by athletes, for athletes.” Its events reflect the values they consider central to the sport: technically challenging courses without unnecessary danger, set among beautiful trails and landscapes. Based in Sintra, the organisation’s flagship event is the STE Sintra Trail X’treme, which combines a demanding, technical route with access to distinctive scenic areas. The race has also hosted Portuguese National Championships.

Declive Sublime’s other events bring trail running and accessible community challenges to different settings. The Corrida Contra o Tempo is a charitable 10-kilometre race in Parque das Nações, designed so participants of all abilities start and finish together as the clocks change for winter time. The Trail Nocturno de Monsanto invites runners of all levels onto the park’s trails at night and is held as part of European Week of Sport. Through carefully selected and maintained routes, Declive Sublime aims to offer participants memorable outdoor experiences in Portugal.
