## Description

The San Francisco Bay Area Curling Club (SFBACC), founded in 1958, is the oldest arena ice club in the vibrant San Francisco Bay Area, and it stands as a national leader in curling education and outreach. With a remarkable growth of membership that has quadrupled in the past eight years, SFBACC boasts over 200 members from diverse backgrounds, ranging from teens to octogenarians. The club fosters inclusivity, prominently promoting diversity in a sport traditionally viewed as exclusive. It has implemented innovative initiatives, including the first Junior curling program in California and active participation in local pride events.

SFBACC offers a wide array of programs, including multiple leagues, adult and youth learn-to-curl events, corporate gatherings, and the annual Golden Gate Bonspiel tournament. With a mission focused on expanding curling's reach and training athletes of all ages and skill levels, SFBACC is shaping the future of this engaging sport in the increasingly competitive U.S. curling landscape.
