# Deepings Raft Race - **Website:** - **Primary alias:** `deepingsraftrace.co.uk` ## Description The Deepings Raft Race is a community-focused annual charity event held on the River Welland in the Deepings, bringing residents and visitors together for a lively summer day. A local tradition since the 1960s, the event takes place on the first Sunday of August. Teams build their own rafts, dress up and compete in themed races, while spectators cheer from the riverbank. The race combines creativity, friendly competition and entertainment, and welcomes people both on and beside the water. Alongside the event, The Deepings Raft Race supports local community groups through a Community Fund, offering grants of up to £400. The organisers also invite volunteers, sponsors and other supporters to help make the day possible. Sponsorship opportunities allow businesses to showcase their brands to an audience of around 2,500 to 3,000 spectators on race day, with packages starting from £100. Visitors can follow event updates, results and entry announcements through the website and mailing list. The event is powered by contributions of money, in-kind support and volunteer time. ## Industries - 🎗 Community and Society - 🎗 Holidays and Seasonal Events _(under Community and Society)_ - 🎗 Philanthropy _(under Community and Society)_ ## Links - [facebook](https://facebook.com/DeepingsRoundTable) - [instagram](https://instagram.com/deepingsraftrace) ## Logos & icons - icon _(primary)_ — JPEG — [download](https://cdn.brandfetch.io/idhwIh5GvU/w/100/h/100/theme/dark/icon.jpeg?c=1bxid64Mup7aczewSAYMX&t=1793449850523) ## Colors | Name | Hex | Theme | | --- | --- | --- | | Blumine | #215b83 | accent | | Ebony | #0f172a | dark | | Malibu | #8ed1fc | light | ## Fonts - DM Serif Display — asset _(google)_ - Work Sans — asset _(google)_ --- _Source: _ _See [/llms.txt](/llms.txt) for a full list of agent-readable pages, and [/auth.md](/auth.md) for how agents authenticate._
