## Description

The Ministry of Defence of the Republic of Maldives is a government ministry working to support a stronger, more resilient and prosperous country. Its work is carried out alongside national institutions including the Maldives National Defence Force, the National Counter Terrorism Centre, the Aviation Security Command, Maldives Hydrographic Service and the National Disaster Management Authority.

The ministry’s website serves as a public information and service portal. It shares ministry decisions, organizational information, service charters, committee details and historical material, as well as news, announcements, press statements, media galleries and activity updates. Visitors can also find information about career opportunities, download forms, consult laws, regulations and policies, review annual reports, and access procurement notices, tenders and contract awards.

Through these resources, the ministry provides a central point for updates on its work and related national institutions, while making administrative information and public documents accessible to citizens and other interested audiences. Recent updates include information about the Maldives 2.0 Roadmap for 2025–2028, focused on the country’s journey toward digital transformation.
