## Description

Défense de Taguer is a French-language political satire blog built around Big Penguin, a fictional penguin campaigning to take power from humans in the name of protecting the planet. Presented as a playful movement, the project views human politics through the eyes of animals, mixing climate concerns with absurdist humor and commentary on public life.

The site offers campaign comic strips, political commentary from the eloquent Professor Poulpi, election-themed articles, and archives documenting the movement’s early days. Its content follows Big Penguin’s ambitions across municipal, national, and European politics, including a presidential campaign, while poking fun at political conventions and the human response to environmental challenges.

Readers can subscribe to a newsletter sent every two weeks, with the Ten Commandments of Big Penguin offered as a welcome extra. Supporters can also contribute to the campaign through Tipeee and visit the online campaign shop for posters, postcards, and official merchandise. Défense de Taguer is free to read and presents its fictional political project with an irreverent, character-driven style.
