## Description

DefenseNow LLC is a firearms education and training company based in Lorton, Virginia, serving individuals, families, and small groups across Northern Virginia and Maryland. Its mission is to promote safe, responsible firearm handling while helping students build proficiency and mental preparedness. The company offers concealed-carry permit qualification clinics, including NRA and non-NRA options, as well as instruction in pistol, rifle, and shotgun safety and marksmanship.

Courses are designed for a range of experience levels, from people who have never fired a firearm to returning shooters seeking to improve. Introductory classes combine classroom instruction with supervised live fire, covering loading and unloading, marksmanship fundamentals, and range etiquette. Skill-improvement sessions are tailored to each student’s goals, including developing stronger basics, increasing proficiency, or preparing for competitive shooting. Students may bring their own firearm or use one provided; ammunition is purchased separately.

DefenseNow’s instructors include NRA-certified professionals, with experience in military service, firearms instruction, competition, and safety education.
