## Description

Dehen Knitting Company, founded by William Peter Dehen in 1920 in Portland, Oregon, is a proud family-owned business specializing in heavyweight U.S. apparel. Renowned for its commitment to quality and craftsmanship, Dehen has been producing durable clothing that embodies rugged American styling for over a century. Initially known for its varsity and collegiate sweaters, the company expanded its offerings in the 1930s by supplying motorcycle clubs with stylish riding sweaters and introduced bespoke varsity jackets in the 1950s, meticulously crafted to fit individual athletes.

Today, the Dehen 1920 line combines the rich heritage of the brand with modern aesthetics, ensuring every garment reflects the “Heavy Duty, Old School Truth” of Dehen craftsmanship. With each piece proudly made in the USA, Dehen continues to uphold its legacy while evolving to meet contemporary tastes. The brand’s unwavering dedication to manufacturing in Portland, despite industry pressures, showcases its resilience and commitment to quality, making it a standout choice for those seeking timeless and robust apparel.
