## Description

De Heuvelruiters is a riding association and pony club based in Wezep, the Netherlands. Founded on 25 July 1967, the club has grown into an active community of more than 140 riding members, including competitive riders and recreational equestrians. It offers riding lessons and activities for both horse and pony riders, with members competing from beginner levels in dressage and show jumping through to national level.

The association organizes indoor and outdoor competitions, regular Thursday evening practice jumping, and practice dressage events throughout the year. Its traditional Vaandragerdag, held on the first Saturday of October, combines dressage, jumping and a trail ride through the Vaandrager woods. The club also hosts events at its own facility on Heidehoeksweg, which includes two riding arenas with ebb-and-flow surfaces, a spacious clubhouse, an outdoor jumping arena and ample parking. De Heuvelruiters shares event schedules, competition results, membership information and club news through its website. New members are welcome, and the association also invites businesses to become sponsors.
