DeKalb County Community Gardens (DCCG) is a non-profit organization dedicated to empowering individuals and communities to choose healthy, sustainable foods. Through education and participation, DCCG aims to end hunger, promote choice and dignity, and foster community growth. With over 15 acres of growing space, DCCG produces organic vegetables and distributes them to local food pantries, shelters, low-income housing units, and community meal sites.

They also operate a mobile food pantry that brings fresh produce to food deserts. DCCG goes beyond providing food by educating people of all ages on the importance of healthy eating and teaching them how to grow their own produce. Their Walnut Grove Vocational Farm offers specialized programs for young adults with special needs, equipping them with valuable skills for agricultural and horticultural employment.
