## Description

The de Laszlo Archive Trust is dedicated to preserving and promoting the artistic legacy of renowned portrait painter Philip de László. Established following the success of an exhibition at the National Portrait Gallery in 2004, the Trust focuses on creating a comprehensive online Catalogue Raisonné of de László's work. This ambitious project, which began in 2007, has made significant progress, with 2,000 entries currently published from a total of 4,000 recorded paintings and drawings.

The Trust harnesses modern technology for ongoing research and updates, ensuring the database reflects the most current information available. A collaborative effort, it relies on contributions from art historians, collectors, and members of the de László family. The Trust also acknowledges the support of various patrons and institutions, such as Art UK and the Witt Library at the Courtauld Institute. Through its initiatives, the de Laszlo Archive Trust aims to enhance public appreciation and access to Philip de László's distinguished oeuvre.
