## Description

Delaware Theatre Company is a performing arts organization located on Wilmington’s Riverfront, at 200 Water Street. It describes itself as the only theatre in Delaware developing new shows for Broadway, while presenting a varied season of live performances and events. Its programming includes productions such as The 25th Annual Putnam County Spelling Bee, Steel Magnolias, Other World, and Clyde’s, alongside special events and comedy performances. Audiences can purchase individual tickets, choose a five-show subscription, or build a subscription from selected performances. The company also offers group booking, gift certificates, and ticket exchanges, and provides visitor information about parking, seating, accessibility, and local restaurant partners. Beyond performances, Delaware Theatre Company supports arts education and community engagement through student matinees, summer programs, the Totally Awesome Players, and a Young Playwrights Festival. The organization welcomes individual and corporate giving and shares news, performance updates, discounts, and event information through its mailing list. With its theatre productions, audience services, and educational programs, it serves as a destination for live theatre and arts participation in Delaware.
