## Description

Delivering Good is a nonprofit organization that connects individuals and families facing poverty, homelessness, disaster, and other hardships with new essential products and services. Founded in 1985, it brings together retailers, manufacturers, foundations, individuals, and community partners to direct unused and excess merchandise to people who can benefit from it. Rather than selling products, Delivering Good distributes donated goods free of charge through a network of local partners across the United States and beyond. Its offerings include practical items such as clothing, shoes, backpacks, accessories, and basic comforts, intended to support people’s dignity, confidence, and everyday needs. The organization also works with partners on disaster relief and longer-term recovery efforts, helping communities access essential items after emergencies. Since its founding, Delivering Good reports providing more than $3 billion worth of donated new merchandise. Individuals and organizations can support its work by donating money or products, becoming partners, or contributing to specific initiatives. Its mission is to turn product donations into meaningful support and opportunity for people facing adversity.
