## Description

Delphian, established in 2000, stands as one of the UK’s leading independent classical record labels, celebrated for its innovative approach to music. Headquartered in Edinburgh, Scotland, Delphian was initially created to enhance the vibrant artistic landscape during the city's renowned International Festival. The label's impressive catalogue features over 200 titles, showcasing a diverse range of repertoire that spans from pre-medieval compositions to contemporary works, with a particular focus on song, choral, chamber, and organ music. Delphian is renowned for its commitment to premiere recordings and lesser-known composers, nurturing artistic talent through long-term collaborations with distinguished choirs, ensembles, and soloists. In 2014, Delphian was honored as ‘Label of the Year’ by Gramophone Magazine, underscoring its reputation for excellence. Under the management of Will Coates-Gibson since 2018, Delphian continues to thrive, distributing its music globally while supporting new and innovative projects, including roots and folk music infused with a Scottish essence.
