## Description

Demenskonsulenten is a private dementia consultancy led by Tina Jenny Kjeldsen, offering guidance and practical support to relatives, professionals, municipalities, regions, and other partners. Its work focuses on building understanding, connection, and greater confidence in everyday life with dementia. Support for families includes personal guidance, consultation, and help navigating the changes, emotions, and decisions that can arise from early symptoms through later stages of care.

For organisations and professionals, Demenskonsulenten provides consultancy on complex cases involving dementia and acquired brain injuries, as well as practice-based learning programmes, lectures, and themed events. The approach uses three complementary perspectives: the family’s experience, changes in the brain, and the person’s life story. Together, these help explain behaviour and identify ways to create safety and meaningful relationships.

The brand also offers educational resources through a dementia knowledge library on YouTube, a blog, newsletter, and webshop. Its work includes attention to relatives’ wellbeing, with resources such as the “Ro i indercirklen” project and guided meditations intended to support calm and mental balance.
