## Description

**Dementia Action Teesside**

Dementia Action Teesside is dedicated to making a positive difference for individuals living with dementia and their families across Middlesbrough and Redcar & Cleveland. This compassionate organization focuses on enhancing the quality of life for those affected by dementia through awareness and supportive initiatives. Their offerings include engaging activities designed to foster connection and expression, with a particular emphasis on music and dance.

The “Music & Memories Singalong” is a popular monthly event where participants can enjoy familiar tunes and share memories in a welcoming environment, held at Dressers Tea Room in Dorman Museum. Additionally, their dance events, hosted weekly, promote enjoyment and reminiscence through music, providing a platform for social interaction. Participants can also enjoy live performances and interactive activities, making these gatherings both fun and fulfilling. Dementia Action Teesside is committed to building dementia-friendly communities and providing essential resources to support families on their journey.
