## Description

De Narre Knollen is a carnival association in Soest, bringing people together to celebrate the season with festivities, community events, and long-standing traditions. The organisation describes its celebrations as the carnival of Soest and highlights the shared spirit of enjoying carnival together. Each season, the association has a reigning carnival leader, or “Hoogheid,” supported by an adjudant. Its programme includes the Prinsenbal and the announcement and installation of a new leader; the association’s event listing also gives the venue and date for these occasions. Other areas of the organisation’s activities and community life include a carnival procession, a good-cause initiative, and the involvement of princes and princesses. Visitors can explore event information, an annual calendar, photographs, and the association’s history. The site also features the board, a youth council, and the Knights of the Narre Knollen, reflecting the groups and traditions connected with the association. De Narre Knollen offers residents and visitors a welcoming way to take part in Soest’s carnival celebrations.
