## Description

The brand 二十世紀電氣目録-ユーレカ・エヴリカ- (20th Century Electric Catalog: Eureka, Eureka) is an innovative project by Kyoto Animation that transports audiences to an alternate early 20th century Kyoto, where steam technology reigns and dreams of an electrified era flourish. This adventure tale follows the protagonist Kihachi Sakamoto, who, along with his admired brother Kiyroku, reflects on their aspirations documented in a mysterious Electric Catalog before Kiyroku's tragic departure to war. The series artfully combines striking impressionist-inspired visuals with intricate animation, representing a vibrant period of tumult and innovation as it explores the rekindled ambitions of youth in an oppressive, smoke-filled world. Presently broadcast on ABC TV, TOKYO MX, TV Aichi, and BS11, it is also available for global streaming exclusively on Netflix. This unique narrative unfolds themes of aspiration, loss, and resilience, capturing the hearts of viewers with its compelling characters and dynamic storytelling.
