## Description

Welcome to the "Onlineprojekt Gefallenendenkmäler," a genealogical project founded in 2003 by genealogists for genealogists. The main purpose of this project is to honor the fallen, missing, and other war victims by preserving and archiving the inscriptions found on war memorials and monuments. This project aims to make these valuable historical resources accessible to the public, especially to those interested in genealogy.

The collection includes names of soldiers and victims from a wide range of wars, such as the Thirty Years' War, World War I, World War II, and other conflicts. The project also covers victims of the division of Germany, along with members of the Bundeswehr and the former National People's Army of the GDR.

This project is a tribute to the individuals who sacrificed their lives in service, and aims to provide a valuable resource for researchers worldwide. Join us in preserving the memory of these brave souls.
