## Description

Denne Hill Cross Country Ride is a horse-riding training and leisure venue in Kent, offering a professionally built cross-country course for novice and experienced riders. Open by appointment throughout the year, weather permitting, the course features more than 40 professionally built fences across a route of over four miles. Obstacles range from simple log jumps to fences approximately 60–106 cm high, with take-off and landing surfaces designed to remain rideable in all but the worst conditions. Riders can also use the popular water complex and other features, including a bank with an in-and-out double rail.

The venue provides opportunities for relaxed off-road riding as well as more challenging training for competitive riders. The course can also be hired for horse shows, events and rallies, and reduced rates are available for large groups. Riders check in at the ride centre, located in an original timber granary beside the parking area, where tea and coffee-making facilities are available. Annual and six-month memberships, along with individual bookings, are offered.
