Denver's Early Childhood Council is dedicated to ensuring that all children in the community have access to high-quality early care and learning. As one of 35 regional Early Childhood Councils in Colorado, they serve as the hub for early childhood services in Denver. Their goal is to provide child care professionals with the training, funding, and support they need to offer the best care and learning environments for young children.

The council works collaboratively with child care professionals, health and mental health care providers, local school districts, and other partners to enhance the quality and availability of child care and early education opportunities. They help professionals stay up to date on scientific innovations in early childhood and navigate the complex landscape of regulations and requirements. Denver's Early Childhood Council operates in three core focus areas: systems building, quality initiatives, and career pathways.

They provide resources and referrals to child care programs, advance effective practices, advocate for relevant policies, and promote social-emotional health and wellbeing.
