Derbyshire Toy Library is a charity organization dedicated to promoting the importance of play and its impact on a child's development. Committed to their mission, they offer a range of services designed to enhance play experiences. These include Toy Hire, Stay and Play Sessions, Party Packages, and Intergenerational Play Sessions. Established in May 2000 as the Crich Millennium Toy Library, their aim was to provide a local resource where families could attend weekly Stay and Play Sessions and borrow toys to take home. With the motto Stay, Play and Take Away, they have been serving the community ever since. The Toy Library offers age-appropriate toys and activities from birth to 99 years old, and even has a member who is 105! Additionally, they provide support to local businesses and events by offering resources and play sessions. Derbyshire Toy Library is not only a valuable source of information but also embodies old-fashioned values in Today's technology-driven world.
