## Description

Hanspeter Scherrer is an independent farrier serving horse owners across eastern Switzerland. Working with a hands-on, individual approach, he recognizes that every horse has its own character and that no single horseshoe or fitting suits them all. He forges and fits horseshoes to match each horse and its needs, with attention to a precise, tailored result.

His services cover a range of disciplines and requirements, including driving, dressage, show jumping, Western riding, and barefoot care. Scherrer emphasizes that choosing the right shoeing begins with assessing the horse’s legs, not just its hooves. When a horse has a problem, he works with the owner’s veterinarian to determine the most suitable hoof position and approach. He believes close cooperation between farrier and veterinarian helps achieve the best solution for both horse and owner.

Based in eastern Switzerland, Scherrer’s service area includes St. Gallen, Thurgau, Appenzell Innerrhoden, Appenzell Ausserrhoden, and Zurich. He offers advice on the available options and welcomes inquiries from horse owners seeking an individually considered hoof-care solution.
